About the owner:
Platinum Island Transport, LLC was created in 2022 by Jason Hargraves.
Jason has been in and out of the Low Country since he was about five years old.
He spent 12 years serving in the United States Army as an infantryman from 2007-2019.
Deployed once each to Iraq and Afghanistan.
During each of his deployments, he often drove armored vehicles, some of which were 50,000 pounds.
Driving is one of his favorite things to do, and to be able to do this for a living, is like a dream.

During his time in the Army, he dealt with a cumulation of issues that eventually lead to being awarded 100% Disability by the VA in spring of 2020.
He had not worked a normal job since his body decided it was to much to do everyday typical work activities.
Luckily, driving is one of the few things that tend to not cause him issues, though sometimes knee pain comes with long days driving.

Being labeled "Disabled" right in the start of COVID, is a lot to take on.
Feelings of hopelessness, and feeling like you no longer have a place in this world to make a difference.
A series of fortunate events, lead to the creation of Platinum.
Now, Jason lives a "dream" he never imagined would be possible, nor even thought of.
